Hi, I’m Jared, the baker behind Liobôn! My love for baking started when I was little, hanging out in the kitchen with my mum and grandma. Since I can’t eat dairy, I began whipping up my own plant-based desserts.
Liobôn began in 2023 as a fun way to share my cakes online. But in 2024 I decided to fully pursue my passion

Although I started Liobôn as a hobby, I wanted to give it a proper name! & I wanted it to reference my beloved cat Lyra
I knew I wanted a German name, so I started with "Liebe" (love) but felt it was too simple. While browsing an old German thesaurus, I found "Liobôn" an older spelling meaning ‘to love.’ It felt perfect: meaningful, unique, and starting with L. That was it!
